FML
FML is a Moodle based Learning Management System that offers role based training through Learning Plans. The system automatically assigns users to Learning Plans that contain relevant courses for them to complete learning activities, earn grades, track their progress and receive certificates upon successful completion of the course. The platform also gives administrators full control of user management, Learning Plan management, course management, enrollments, and training progress, all accessible from a centralized admin dashboard.

Bulk User Upload
Manually adding thousands of users to the LMS was slow and time consuming task.
Automated Learning Plan Assignment
Manual assignment of courses to users by rank was difficult, error-prone.
Training Reports
Administrators had difficulty tracking the progress of learners and the completion of courses.

Users couldn't easily see how many courses they completed or had left to complete.
Solutions
Bulk User Upload
Developed a CSV based bulk upload feature for admins which enables up to 80,000 user uploads at a time. User accounts are generated automatically by the system. Onboarding is quick and easy.
Automated Learning Plan Assignment
Created automated cron-based process for assignment of Learning Plans and courses based on the user's Rank to ensure right training for every user.
Training Reports
Created reporting module that allows admins to produce detailed reports on course completion, module completion, enrollments and learner progress in one place.
Learner Dashboard
Learner dashboard was created to see the completed courses, pending assignments and the overall progress.
Key Features
Administrator Dashboard
The Admin Dashboard is the main control panel for managing the whole LMS. Administrators are able to create and manage users, courses, Learning Plans, roles, permissions, plugins and system settings from one interface. With a single glance you can easily access and manage learner activity, enrolments and overall platform management, making day-to-day administration a breeze.
Bulk User Upload
There's also a CSV import for bulk user onboarding on the platform. Administrators can upload an 80,000 user file at once, and the system will validate the data, create user accounts and update existing records as needed. This significantly reduces manual effort and enables faster user onboarding.
Learning Plan Management
Learning plan administration system supports understandable training models. Learning plans can be organized by rank, type of vessel or other organizing criteria. Required or optional courses are automatically pushed to users, making sure each learner gets the right training without manual course assignment.
Reporting Module
LMS has a powerful reporting module that gives the administrator full visibility into the progress of the learners. It allows you to monitor such metrics as enrollments, course completion, module progress, grades and overall training compliance You can create reports for users, learning plans, courses & course modules and course completions. You can also export reports for further analysis and record keeping.
Student Dashboard
The 'Student Dashboard' gives learners a clear overview of their learning path. It shows the total number of courses completed, in progress and yet to be started so that the users can get an instant view of their training status. Learners can access their assigned learning plans, view course list for each category, resume the courses they have started but not yet completed, view their progress, view their marks and download certificates upon completion of the courses assigned to them. This personalised dashboard allows learners to stay organised and complete their training on time.
